Outside of dentistry, Dr. Prestwich enjoys spending time with his wife, Danelle, and their kids. He is fluent in Italian and has a unique hobby—training birds of prey!

Dr. Moss was born and raised in Texas and spent 29 years serving as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy—so you could say he knows a thing or two about taking care of smiles! He studied at Texas A&M University and Baylor College of Dentistry, and now he loves helping kids feel comfortable and confident at the dentist.

When he’s not creating super smiles, Dr. Moss enjoys life on a small farm with his wife, Nancy. He has a green thumb for landscaping, loves to go fishing, and is an avid bird watcher (ask him about the coolest bird he’s ever spotted!).

Dr. Mariella Bonilla Connors is a proud native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, who has built a rewarding career in pediatric dentistry. After graduating from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida, she followed her passion for volleyball to the University of Central Florida before transferring to Old Dominion University, where she earned her BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then pursued her DMD from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, completing her pediatric specialty in 2002.
Dr. Connors began her career in pediatric dentistry in 2001, during her residency, and has accumulated over 24 years of experience. She is particularly passionate about helping children who are anxious or fearful of dental visits, emphasizing a compassionate, understanding approach to care. In 2009, she opened her own practice, focusing on providing personalized, comprehensive treatments that prioritize the unique needs of each child.
Returning to Virginia Beach to continue her work is a special moment for Dr. Connors, as she cherishes the memories and friendships formed over the years. She is excited to bring her knowledge and expertise from the North to build a new chapter in her life and career, and looks forward to serving the Hampton Roads area.
